Fixed an issue that prevented Eve Connect from performing updates when initiated from Android devices.
Our Smart Charging Network (SCN) functionality is implemented as a shared library between our NG9xx platform and AHP platform to enable cross compatible SCNs. Our previous NG9xx release and our latest AHP releases have implemented SCN version 1.4, where this release newly implements SCN version 1.5. SCN versions are not backwards compatible.
SCN versions are not backwards compatible. It is not possible to combine charging stations running this release together with charging stations running older NG9 firmware and/or current AHP firmware in a single Smart Charging Network. The ACE Service Installer will provide a warning if charging stations with different SCN library versions are used in one SCN. Please refer to the SCN compatibility matrix below to check compatible firmware versions. For the actual status on this topic please refer to this page.
Firmware update instructions
With the release of NG9xx Firmware 7.0, there is no longer the option between "A and B firmware versions", as first introduced with version 4.14.0.
