- Download and install Alfen's ACE Service Installer software
- Request an ACE Service Installer account via support.alfen.com
(Go to ‘Charging Equipment Support Portal’, ‘Manage your services’, ‘Request for Sign-up’) - If you still have access to the original Control Board, note the settings as these might have been adjusted manually
(Object number, Power Settings, Load Balancing, Backoffice preset etc.). - You know the Device Object ID. This ID is shown on the label on the bottom of the charging station and starts with ACExxxxxxx or xxxxxRxxx.
Connecting to the charger
Connect the charger to your computer.
There are two options to connect the Ethernet cable to the charging station and to the computer:
Connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the Control Board.
You must remove the cover from the charging station for this option.
Connect the Ethernet cable to the same router to which the station is connected.
This will only work when your charger already has a connection to the same network.
