Firmware release 2.1.0 is a release that incorporates a number of general improvements, stability improvements, bug fixes and some main features.
The main new features are:
OCPP 2.0.1 support
Firmware file size reduction
OCPP 2.0.1 support
OCPP 2.0.1 support is added to Firmware release 2.1.0, with profiles Core, Advanced Security and Local Authorization List. This implementation is certified by the Open Charge Alliance with certification number OCA.0201.0014.CS. All certified use cases are listed in Chapter 7.
More use cases are supported because of ISO15118 improvements and smart charging necessities.
NB. Please be aware that Security Level 1 or higher is required by the OCPP standard, Level 0
on OCPP 2.0.1 will be rejected by the charger
Firmware file size reduction
The image file size for the firmware update is reduced from ~75Mb to ~41Mb, reducing the download time and data costs up to 45%.
Bug fixes
- Charging station now accepts ChangeAvailability request when connector is in hard error
- Fixed a number of OCPP 1.6 reservation issues
- No reservation possible when other socket was occupied
- Cancelling reservation was not possible
- Session on reserved socket would not send a transaction message and keep the reservation active after session
- Authorize response without parentID could crash the CSM if the socket was reserved
- Fixed an issue were an invalid tag from the authorization cache would cause a timeout with offline systems
- Fixed an issue where StatusNotifications were sent in high numbers when charger is being commissioned.
- Charger did not send “InstallationFailed” to the backoffice after rollback
- Fixed simplified stop charging compliance to IEC 61851-1 timings
- Fix a crash when a security profile was configured for OCPP 2.0.1 with security profile 0
- Fixed an issue where the station and it's connector's would stay unavailable after a rollback
- Charging Session is started but not coupled to the IDTag
- Fixed an issue where set charging profiles are not implemented as expected.
- Fixed an issue where the connector ID was swapped in the backoffice
- Added missing OD value for Direct Payment solutions tab in Alfen Service Installer
- Fix issue where a socket would stay in inoperative state after an "OnIdle" reset was performed while another socket was charging.
- Fix issue where inoperative state of connector 0 (the whole charger) in OCPP 1.6 would not be picked up in OCPP 2.0.1 after migration.
