What to do if your Alfen charging station is not working
Intended audience: This article is intended for end users of Alfen charging stations.
Are you experiencing a malfunction or is your charging station not working as expected? That’s understandably frustrating – we’re happy to help, but in many cases, the issue is handled by your supplier, installer, or leasing company. Below you’ll find who to contact.
Are you using a public charging station?
These are managed by an external party. You’ll find the operator’s phone number on a sticker on the charging station. If the sticker is unreadable or missing, contact your charge card provider (their contact details are usually on the card or in the app) or your municipality. They can help you identify the correct operator.
Are you using a home charging station (private installation)?
Who to contact depends on where you purchased the charging station:
- Via a leasing company: contact your leasing company.
- Via an installer: contact the installer who installed the charging station.
- Via an (online) retailer or webshop: contact the seller.
Not sure where you bought the charging station? No problem:
- Check your invoice or proof of purchase.
- Still unsure? You can contact us directly via the chat function on our service portal, support.alfen.com
