Can I connect a 3-phase charging station to a 1-phase installation?
Overview
Yes, a 3 phase Eve Single charging station can be connected to a 1 phase installation without any issues.
Yes, a 3 phase Eve Single charging station can be connected to a 1 phase installation without any issues.
Make sure that phase 1 of the installation is connected to phase 1 of the charging station.
It is not permitted to loop phases 1, 2 and 3 together.
In that case, we do advise to prepare the feeder cable for 3 phases, should you wish to connect the charging station to 3 phases in the future.
