How to activate SSA using the ACE Service Installer
Please follow below steps to activate the SSA-option on your charger.
- Make sure you are using the ACE Service Installer program with version 3.5.1 or higher.
Update your current version or download the application from alfen.com/downloads.
- Open the ACE Service Installer and log-on to the charger.
- In the ‘General’ tab, click on ‘Station password’ in the menu on the left:
- Tick the checkbox ‘Enable Secure Service Access’ to allow an Alfen engineer to gain access using the SSA-code generated by Alfen.
- Click ‘save' on the bottom of the page.
- Click 'Yes' to confirm you want to enable the SSA-option.
| In case Secure Service Access is NOT enabled, an engineer will be unable to log-in to the charger for testing, configuration or repair activities by using the SSA-code provided by Alfen. To allow service in this situation, the default/owner password must be provided when the engineer attends the site or the charger is send to Alfen for repair. |
