Try the App Without Connecting to a Charging Station – Introducing Demo Mode
Curious about how our app works but don’t have access to a charging station yet? No problem! With Demo Mode, you can explore all the key features of the app in an interactive experience—no EV or charger required. It’s the perfect way to get familiar with the app before your first real charge.
Demo Mode Access Instructions
To try out the app without connecting to a charging station, you can activate Demo Mode using a simple gesture.
Current password: password123
How to activate Demo Mode: Press and hold the welcome text with two fingers for at least 3 seconds.
What Demo Mode does: It lets you explore the app’s features without needing to connect to a charging station—perfect for testing or getting familiar with the app.
How to exit Demo Mode: Double-tap the Demo Mode icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Download and install the EVE Connect app from the app-store
Start the app
The app opens and the welcome screen is displayed
With 2 fingers, hold on the welcome message for more than 3 seconds
Confirm you want to enter the demo mode
Note that the ‘Demo mode’ label is present to indicate the demo-state of the app.
Click ‘Get started’ on the bottom to proceed.
Tick the box to accept the terms and conditions of use, followed by the ‘continue’ button
The app ‘searches’ for chargers as it would do when not in demo mode and finds the demo-charger
Enter the password for the demo-charger, it is mentioned in the screen as it is for this demo-charger only, and click ‘connect’ on the bottom.
Enter a friendly name for the charger and press ‘Continue’.
The app is now active in demo mode and ready for you!

To exit the demo-mode, double tick on the ‘Demo mode’ label
