Charging Station Detected but Inaccessible in ACE Service Installer (IP/Comm Error)

 

Issue
The customer can see the charging station in the ACE Service Installer list but can no longer log in. The error message indicates a communication error or IP error.

 

 

Solution
Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

 

 

Restart the Charging Station

  • Power off the charging station for 30 seconds (disconnect the power).

  • Then power the charging station back on.

 

Check the Connection

  • Connect the UTP cable between the charging station and the laptop.

  • Restart the ACE Service Installer.
     

 

Check the Network Adapter

  • Still unable to log in?

    • Check the network adapter settings on the laptop.

    • Ensure the adapter used for the connection is in the same IP range as the charging station.
