Activating Your Microsoft Dynamics License for New Field Service Partners with B2B Connectivity

 

Overview

This document provides clear, step-by-step instructions for new Field Service Partner (FSP) users (Dispatcher or Engineer) to activate their licenses to Microsoft Dynamics, depending on their organization’s connectivity setup with Alfen. This guide is for Field Service Partner with B2B Connectivity. This refers to Field Service Partners who have established a direct, secure connection (B2B connectivity) between their organization and Alfen. This connection enables seamless and secure communication between both systems. As a result, FSP users can access Microsoft Dynamics without requiring a guest invitation.

Note: The FSP must ensure that the new user is added to the B2B connection before proceeding. Otherwise, the login will fail even after all approvals are completed.

 

Step 1: Access the Microsoft Access Package Portal

Click the following link to open the Microsoft Access Package portal:

Step 2: Log In

Sign in using your organization's email address and password when prompted.

 

Step 3: Navigate to Access Packages

Once logged in, you will be directed to the Microsoft Access Packages page.

  • Click on “Access Packages”
  • Then select the “Available” tab to view available access packages.

 

Step 4: Select the Appropriate Access Package

Choose the appropriate package based on the user role:
✅ Dispatchers → Select ‘Production-Dispatcher’ and click “Request”
✅ Engineers → Select ‘Production-Engineer’ and click “Request”

⚠ Important: If you see an access package labeled “Acceptance”, do not request it. Only request the Production package.

Step 5: Submit Your Request

  • Click “Continue”

  • Fill in the mandatory field (*) with a short message requesting access to Dynamics.
  • Click “Send Request” to submit your request.

Step 6: Approval & Confirmation

  • A confirmation message will appear, indicating your request is being processed.

  • Once approved by Alfen, you will receive a notification confirming access.
  • Click “Get Started” to proceed.

📌 Note: Approval may take a few hours. If you haven’t received approval within one business day, contact your Alfen regional contact person.

 

Step 7: Access Microsoft Dynamics

Once access is granted, you can log in to Microsoft Dynamics Field Service using the following link:

Additional Notes

✅ For Dispatchers: Both "Alfen-Field Service" and "Field Service Mobile" will be available in the browser version of Dynamics.
✅ For Engineers: Only "Field Service Mobile" will be visible in the browser version.
