Overview
Alfen chargers use Error codes to inform when an issue is noticed.
This helps to determine and solve the issue as much as possible by the user, ChargePoint Operator or engineer onsite.
Where can I find a list of the Error codes and their meaning?
Information on Error codes can be found on several places, here is an overview:
Each Error code has its own page here on the knowledgebase
Go to the Error code mainpageFirmware releases
On the pages for the most recent released firmware versions, we included the Errorcode list, Release notes and Backoffice keysFirmware release information for chargers on the AHP-platform (Eve Single Plus, Eve Double Plus, Twin5 (Plus))
Firmware release information for chargers on the NG-platform (Eve Single S, Eve Single Pro, Eve Double Pro, Eve Double PG, Twin4XL))
When subscribed, you will receive information on newly released firmware by mail.
It includes the firmware release notes, Backoffice configuration keys and the Errorcode list
Note: not all errorcodes are available from all firmware versions.
Some codes are added later or are only appicable for 1 platform, example Errorcode 114 is specifically for chargers on the AHP-Platform and not available on NG-Chargers.
Or Error 214 (lost connection to an externally installed RTU powermeter) that was introduced in firmware 7.0.0 on the NG-Platform.
