An error code or message appears during the start of a charging session

 

This article helps to detect the cause of an error code being shown at the start of a charging session.

 

  • Follow the regular procedure to start a charging session.
     

  • Check If an error message appears on the Charger (EVSE) or the display of the vehicle (EV) before or while starting the charging session.
     

  • If there is an error on the charger, please check the error code list, this can be found on the dedicated page for the firmware version your charger is using.
     

  • If the error appears on the display of the vehicle, please check the user manual of the vehicle or with the supplier of the vehicle.
