A charging session is started but interrupted within a couple of minutes.

This pages helps to solve a charging session to be interrupted after a short time.

A session starts but is interrupted within approximately 2 minutes.
This could be an authorization problem as well, especially in case of plug and Charge session.
Please unplug the charge cable and retry starting the session again.

A possible indication: A red cross in the screen, red led or a message in the screen saying “charging currently not possible”.

How to check

Rebooting or Power cycle the unit.
This could be a good test, after the reboot the Charger will try to reconnect to the back office.
In offline status the session should be able to start normally.
When connected to the Backoffice the authorization will take place again and if not valid the session will be ended.

Note:
This will only work if the offline settings are set to accept all tags or known tags. In case the setting is reject all tags in offline status the test will not work.

Possible Solution
In case the Charger is connected to a Backoffice charge passes should be accepted in the Backoffice. For these actions it would be recommended to contact the Backoffice provider.

Plug & Charge
Plug and charge Identifier codes work the same way as a regular charge pass-id, except it is a fixed tag number and is being used for all charge sessions.
See more information about this here.

Standalone
When the charger is standalone (not using a Backoffice), the charge pass-id could be added to the local whitelist.
Please find more information here.
