Is there a residual current protection in the charging station?
This article describes the residual protection for Alfen chargers.
The residual current protection available depends on the model of the charger.
EVE Single
The EVE Single charger S-line and Pro-line, are equipped with an internal 6mA DC detection.
In addition, a residual current circuit breaker (type A) and a short circuit protection (in the form of an MCB or fuses) are mandatory in the installation for Eve Single charging stations.
EVE Double
The Eve Double Pro-line is equipped with 2 internal type B RCCBs.
Always consult the manual of your product for the correct installation requirements.
